People choose it for

  • a quick lunchtime visit rather than an hour in the chair
  • a regular monthly top up
  • people who want the B vitamins without a litre of fluid

Every appointment starts with a short consultation with the GP: your history, medication, allergies and blood pressure. It is included in the price, and if the doctor thinks a different drip (or no drip) is the better choice, that is what we recommend.

How your visit runs

  1. Book online. Choose a time and pay £89. Nothing more to pay on the day.
  2. A short consultation. The GP checks your history, medicines and allergies.
  3. Your shot. An injection into the muscle of the upper arm or buttock; a few seconds.
  4. Done. In and out in about 15 to 20 minutes. You can drive straight afterwards.

Eat something and drink water before you come; do not arrive fasting. Bring a list of your medications and any supplements. You can drive home afterwards.

Who it is not for

Some conditions mean a shot is not suitable. Tell us when you book, or at the consultation, if any of these apply to you, and we will advise or rebook you without charge.

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have a kidney or liver condition, or heart failure
  • You are under 18, or over 60
  • You have a known allergy to any vitamin, mineral or to NAD+

A flush, a warm feeling or a metallic taste during the drip is normal and passes. Mild tiredness or a headache for a day afterwards can happen. A hot, swollen or painful drip site, a fever, or a rash in the days afterwards: contact us. Severe breathing difficulty or swelling of the face: call 999.

Questions people ask

Are the shots given together?

One after the other: the two B vitamin injections go into the muscle, and the glutathione is a slow push through a small cannula in the hand or arm. Nothing is mixed. Allow 20 minutes.

How often can I have the Booster Stack?

Monthly is typical. B12 can be given more often if the doctor finds a reason to; glutathione is usually weekly for a course then monthly. The GP will suggest a spacing that suits you.

Do I need a blood test first?

No. If you are tired all the time, though, a blood test for B12, folate, ferritin, thyroid and vitamin D is often more useful than a shot, and we can take it in the same visit.

Do I need a blood test first?

No. The GP consultation at the start covers your history and any medicines, and the shot is given straight after.

Does it hurt?

It is an injection, so a brief sting. Most people describe it as less than a blood test.

Can I drive afterwards?

Yes. None of our drips or shots contain anything sedating, and you have a 30-minute observation with a final check before you leave.

Who gives the drip?

A GMC-registered GP, Dr Ibrar Ahmed, in our CQC-registered clinic. The doctor stays in the building for the whole of your visit, and the clinic has emergency equipment and medicines on site.

Where are you?
