Vitamin B Complex Injection in Birmingham
A single intramuscular injection of vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6, given by a GP in a 15-minute appointment. These B vitamins contribute to normal energy metabolism, the normal functioning of the nervous system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It does not contain B12: add the B12 injection, or book the Booster Stack for both.
- GP consultation included
- 15 to 20 minutes
- Pharmaceutical grade
- CQC-registered

What is in it, and why
Pharmaceutical grade nutrients from a UK supplier, made to GMP standards, free from preservatives and heavy metals, and vegan friendly. The nutrient statements above are the claims authorised for use in the UK; a drip is not a treatment for any medical condition.
People choose it for
- adults of any age, including over 60s
- adding to a B12 injection or any drip
- a monthly top up without a drip
Every appointment starts with a short consultation with the GP: your history, medication, allergies and blood pressure. It is included in the price, and if the doctor thinks a different drip (or no drip) is the better choice, that is what we recommend.
How your visit runs
- Book online. Choose a time and pay £35. Nothing more to pay on the day.
- A short consultation. The GP checks your history, medicines and allergies.
- Your shot. An injection into the muscle of the upper arm or buttock; a few seconds.
- Done. In and out in about 15 to 20 minutes. You can drive straight afterwards.
Who it is not for
Some conditions mean a shot is not suitable. Tell us when you book, or at the consultation, if any of these apply to you, and we will advise or rebook you without charge.
A flush, a warm feeling or a metallic taste during the drip is normal and passes. A hot, swollen or painful drip site, a fever, or a rash in the days afterwards: contact us.

Questions people ask
Does it contain B12?
No. The B complex injection is B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6. If you want B12 as well, add the B12 injection (£20 as an add-on) or book the Booster Stack.
Who should not have it?
Anyone who has ever reacted to a vitamin B injection, and anyone pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell the doctor about any allergies at the consultation.
Will my urine change colour?
Often, yes: riboflavin (B2) turns urine bright yellow for a day or so. It is harmless.
Do I need a blood test first?
No. The GP consultation at the start covers your history and any medicines, and the shot is given straight after.
Does it hurt?
It is an injection, so a brief sting. Most people describe it as less than a blood test.
Can I drive afterwards?
Yes. None of our drips or shots contain anything sedating, and you have a 30-minute observation with a final check before you leave.
Who gives the drip?
A GMC-registered GP, Dr Ibrar Ahmed, in our CQC-registered clinic. The doctor stays in the building for the whole of your visit, and the clinic has emergency equipment and medicines on site.
Where are you?
