BMR Calculator

Estimate your daily calorie needs based on your body and activity level.

Activity level
Daily calorie needs
- kcal/day BMR at complete rest

BMR is the estimated energy your body uses at rest. Your activity-adjusted estimate is your TDEE. A change of around 500 kcal/day is often used as a rough guide for weight change, but individual needs vary. Please seek medical advice before making significant dietary changes.

CHA₂DS₂-VASc Calculator
HAS-BLED Calculator

A few key points on interpretation: the HAS-BLED score is designed to identify and correct modifiable bleeding risk factors (uncontrolled hypertension, labile INR, interacting drugs, alcohol), not to contraindicate anticoagulation outright. A score ≥ 3 flags high risk but should prompt risk-factor review rather than stopping anticoagulation — especially since high HAS-BLED scores often coincide with high CHA₂DS₂-VASc scores, where the stroke benefit typically still outweighs the bleeding risk.

The “A” criterion covers both renal and liver dysfunction, each scoring 1 point (max 2), and similarly “D” covers antiplatelet/NSAID drugs and alcohol separately (max 2) — giving a maximum possible score of 9.
