Payments are due at the time of booking.
For externally sourced investigations such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound scans, fees are non-refundable once payment has been made on the referral day.
The process for these investigations includes:
1. A OneMedicine clinician contacts the hospital to discuss the case specifics with the appropriate consultant radiologist or specialist.
2. A formal request or referral letter is prepared by the clinician, detailing the complaint history, clinical findings, and any relevant test results.
3. OneMedicine’s administrative team securely forwards the referral to the hospital by secure email, fax, special delivery, or courier.
4. OneMedicine leverages its service agreements and provider relationships to secure the earliest available appointment with the consultant radiologist or specialist.
5. OneMedicine pays the private hospital directly for the diagnostic costs and oversees the case, including results interpretation, patient follow-up, and subsequent care planning.
Laboratory Investigations:
Blood tests and other laboratory investigations (such as urine tests, stool tests, and swabs) are non-refundable once samples have been collected.
By paying for these investigations, patients are providing consent to undergo them, having discussed the need with a OneMedicine clinician. Samples are promptly forwarded to the laboratory to ensure timely results. Standard tests typically have a 3-4 working day turnaround, while DNA tests may take approximately 30 days. Delays within 5 working days of the expected timeframe are considered reasonable and do not qualify for a refund.
Results are best reviewed in a face-to-face follow-up with the treating clinician, typically arranged one week after the initial consultation.
Vaccine Schedules:
Prepaid vaccine courses are non-refundable once administration has begun. OneMedicine ensures that vaccine supplies are ordered promptly, usually on the day of decision. Patients are expected to complete their vaccine course with OneMedicine. Non-completion does not qualify for a refund. We offer flexible booking, including evenings and weekends for travellers, when necessary.
Anti-malarial medication is non-refundable once dispensed or a prescription issued.
Medicals:
Fees for private medicals (e.g., pre-employment, aviation, driving) are non-refundable and must be paid in advance. Appointments are scheduled with dedicated private physicians, and non-attendance will require rebooking and full payment for a new slot.
Medication:
All medications dispensed on-site, such as antibiotics and anti-malarials, are non-refundable once taken off-site.
