Online consultations make healthcare more accessible, but some concerns require in-person assessment or specialist care. At OneMedicine we are unable to routinely assist with the following online:

Medications & prescriptions: Controlled drug prescriptions, including strong pain relief, anxiety and depression medications, and sleep aids

Emergency symptoms: Severe chest pain, sudden onset of severe pain, sudden difficulty breathing, major trauma, persistent breathlessness, or high fever with disorientation

NHS services: NHS referrals and NHS prescriptions

•

Medical documentation: Fitness assessments, certificates of health, and complex medical forms

•

Severe mental health concerns: Severe psychiatric disorders, mental health concerns for individuals under 18 years

•

Specialist care requirements: Neurological issues, sudden or heavy bleeding, pregnancy complications, and chemotherapy-related complications

•

COVID-19 testing & dental issues: COVID tests and dental treatments

•

Language services: Translation services are not available; all consultations are conducted in English
