Frequently asked questions

Your doctor will recommend the appropriate lung test based on your symptoms, medical history, and risk factors. If you’re experiencing breathing difficulties or have a history of smoking, tests like spirometry or a high-resolution CT scan may be suggested.

Most of the lung tests we offer, including spirometry, PEFR, and the Early CDT scan, are non-invasive. The high-resolution CT scan requires imaging but does not involve any incisions or invasive procedures.

Spirometry and PEFR tests provide immediate results, while the Early CDT scan and high-resolution CT scan may take a few days, depending on the specific test and your doctor’s evaluation.

Yes, the Early CDT scan is specifically designed to detect lung cancer at an early stage by identifying immune responses to cancer-related antigens. A high-resolution CT scan can also reveal suspicious abnormalities in the lung tissue.
